Delta Christian Academy & Child Development Center is a ministry of the Delta Church of the Nazarene.  Established in February of 2003 the center focuses on providing our local community with the love and care associated with 'at home' care and the responsibility and professionalism of a center.

Our primary purpose is to provide quality care to children in a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment.

Delta Christian Academy provides an academic curriculum that promotes social skills and school readiness, while encouraging children to develop at their own pace.

Philosophy

Delta Christian Academy and Child Development Center is dedicated to providing a learning and nurturing environment that supports the development of each child. Our goal is to provide appropriate activities to develop each child socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively through child and teacher guided exploration. Our toddler, preschool, and pre-kindergarten programs follow a Pennsylvania Department of Education curriculum, and are comparable to the Maryland Department of Educational preschool programs. 

Before and After School Programs

Our school age before & after school programs and summer camp programs provide the perfect combination of recreation and education. In our safe environment, your child will be presented with opportunities for fun, socializing, and learning-they'll do homework, get some exercise, create art, participate in group activities and more. Plus, our convienient hours make it easy for them to get into a routine.

Through activities such as field trips, reading, music, and art, your child will explore themes like animals and the environment, fitness, cultural events and more.
